This HAS to be a joke…

I get it – not everything in life makes sense. For example, why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway? These and other deep questions will continue to plague us for all eternity.

However, when your children’s father tells them that they have received their rhythmically-inclined genetics from him, your eyebrows might jump up to your hairline (at least, mine did). Don’t get me wrong – I know lots of guys that can definitely move. But if some poor soul looks like a walking stick undergoing electro-shock therapy when he attempts to cut a rug, he really doesn’t have a leg to stand on when he claims that he is the source of the kids’ dancing talent.

It’s probably best not to contradict him outright, though. Let him have his little fantasy; after all, ignorance is bliss.
