New Year’s Resolutions and Goals – Printables
When the calendar changes to reflect a new year, many of us engage in the time-old tradition of creating resolutions and goals to meet during the upcoming 12 months. Encourage your dancers to do the same; having goals helps us all to have a greater sense of purpose and to make better decisions.
To get started, you might want to check out SMART Goals for Dancers (it explains the SMART goal-making strategy as it could apply to our dancing kiddos). Another way to inspire your dancer to think about the future is by downloading and printing one of these graphics – the guided prompts are very helpful to nail down specific targets.
Gold Ribbon
With this graphic, your dancer can use the blank boxes for any type of goal or resolution they desire!
Green Circles
This simple graphic features six prompts that gets the user thinking! I especially like the “learn,” “visit,” “give,” and “change” circles. Three colors available!
Mystical List
Like the graphic above, this list features prompts that will help your dancer to dig a little deeper. I like the added “try” prompt myself.
Emerald Marble
This marbled design appeals to dancers of all ages. The prompts are simple and straightforward, but provide a “path” to reach a goal.
Disco Ball
For a little funky flair, your dancer can use this fun graphic to record three resolutions.
Black and Gold Foil
This elegant graphic provides five open-ended prompts to get your dancer thinking about future targets. I especially like the “share” prompt, which helps to shift the user’s focus from themselves to others.
