The 12 Dancing Days of Christmas

For the holidays, I thought it would be fun to put together a version of The 12 Days of Christmas especially for dance families, with the line “my true love gave to me” altered to “my dance mom gave to me.”  Let’s face it, dance moms are always giving our dancing kids something (to be fair, they need a boatload of stuff).  

For some inspiration, I enlisted the members of my Facebook page to add suggestions for each of the 12 days.  As always, they came through in fine style!  When all twelve days had elapsed, I used an online wheel spinner to choose which one would end up in the final song.  This is what the end result is!

My girls and I loved the end product so much that we decided to actually sing it, and recorded it for the world to hear (much to my embarrassment, but I don’t want to disappoint my girls so I’m sucking it up).
