If you want your self-esteem to be instantly and irrevocably diminished, take a virtual dance class alongside your child! I now know how awkward and miserable Marla Hooch felt during her movement lessons in A League of Their Own (a fantastic movie, if you haven’t seen it). Going forward, I think I’ll leave the video dance classes to my girls (but if an 80’s tune drops in a public place, I can’t make any guarantees I’ll be able to resist).
