If you follow college dance, I’m sure you are eagerly awaiting the Universal Dance Association’s College Nationals weekend! I am among the many people that consider it the “Super Bowl” of dance, and my girls and I can’t wait! This year, we were fortunate to see a bunch of teams before they left as they gave a “send-off” performance. The talent was spectacular, and I wish these young people all the best as they take the stage.
I was playing around with the idea of creating a viewer-friendly schedule for the information Varsity published before the event began. Jazz preliminaries, pom semi-finals, hip-hop semi-finals, dance game day semi-finals, and spirit program semi-finals were made available, so I put together a spreadsheet with all of the information. I was hoping to download it into a more visually appealing form, but this was the best I could produce at the last minute.

To view the competition live, you’ll need to subscribe to VarsityTV. Take a look at the website for all the plans available.
I’ll be the first to admit that I was hoping for something more visually appealing, yet practical. I will continue to think of ways to improve it for next year. I did double-check all of the information, but I suggest looking at the individual teams’ social media accounts to verify the information (or the schedule on Varsity.com). If teams move onto the next round (jazz semi-finals, pom finals, etc.), they typically post it on their social media accounts.
